DESCRIPTION

A little book of the medicine used by the ancient Yagans. Based largely on the knowledge and memories of grandmother Cristina Calderón and other members of the Yagan community. Supplemented with notes by the ethnologist Martin Gusinde.

The work on the book took place in conjunction with numerous excursions to identify and gather the different curative plants. The next step was to learn how to prepare and apply them in their different uses.

At the end of the book there is a glossary in Spanish and in Yagan of the plants and the ailments described.
